Kaÿn Lab is an experimental jazz-fusion band focusing on Ethiopian rhythms & modes using Ethiopian modes with Western rhythms or Ethiopian Rhythms on diatonic melodies. We take a highly improvisational approach to the music while maintaining a strong sense of structure. Our music is fun, interesting and thought provoking.
